Before I began DJing, I was primarily working as an event planner and promoter.
I had been attending the Causing A Riot events and always had an incredible experience.
So, when I discovered Georgie was offering DJ lessons, I didn’t hesitate to sign up.
My only experience was mixing on my DDJ-200s in my bedroom, I had never even touched a CDJ before.
After just one lesson, I not only understood how to use the equipment properly;
I also learned how to export tracks to a USB, set accurate hot cues, and analyse the structure of drum & bass
tracks to create smooth transitions and blends.
That first session gave me the confidence to start practicing at Pirate Studios, where I began
developing my own sets, exploring different sounds, and experimenting with new mixes.
By my second lesson, I had learned how to double drop—something I had seen DJs do for years and never
thought I’d be able to pull off myself. The feeling of being able to do it was truly surreal.
I’m now preparing for my first official DJ set, and I finally feel ready, both in skill and confidence, thanks to
these amazing lessons. Huge thanks once again. I’m already looking forward to the next session!

I started learning online and I was struggling to make any progress, so I decide to try an in-person lesson
with Georgie. Her knowledge is second to none and she went at my pace until I got the hang of it.
